Interview with two participants of the Bird PhotoTrip - 2008. 1) – What have your most recent nature photography destinations been? Jan-Michael Breider: Kuwait, Georgia, Caucasus. Joan Gil: Florida, Iceland, the Falklands. 2 )- What photo has given you most satisfaction and awards? Jan-Michael Breider: A black and white photo, from 22 years ago, of falcons in flight in Sweden. Joan Gil: A photo of flamingoes in the Ebro Delta. 3)- What bird has brought you to Montsec? Jan-Michael Breider: the Little Bustard. Joan Gil: the Lammergeier and the Little Bustard. 4) – What is it about the area of Montsec that have you enjoyed the most? Jan-Michael Breider: the variety of species, the authentic landscape and the light provided by the wide open spaces. It is a landscape that generates increasing interest the more you get to know it. Joan Gil: the great contrasts in the landscape, the open horizons and the brush strokes of trees and crops that are all around. Joan Gil: Una foto de Flamencs al delta de l’Ebre. 3)- ¿Quin ocell t’ha portat fins el Montsec? Jan-Michael Breider: El Sisó. Joan Gil: El Trencalòs i el Sisó. 4) - ¿Què és el que més t’ha agradat de la zona del Montsec?. Jan-Michael Breider: La varietat d’espècies, el paisatge autèntic i la llum que proporcionen els grans espais oberts. És un paisatge que genera més interès quan més el coneixes. Joan Gil: El grans contrastos en el paisatge, els horitzons oberts i les pinzellades d’arbres i cultius que hi han arreu. És apassionant. |
